I have been working on updating a website for a client, and for the mobile version, to see changes I have used the mobile option in the customize section when I log in to my Admin account, and I have used also the responsive version in the Inspect option when I right click on the website (you know, that Elements tab, Console, etc).
And I can see the changes are “good” but when I see it on my phone is all crappy lol. So my question is, is there another tool/option that is more accurate to test the mobile version updates for the website?
Sorry, I hope my explanation makes sense.

understood the explanation. Did you actually select a devices name from the responsive menu (iPhone, Pixel) or just played with the width?
Basically you can use browserstack to view sites on many different devices and OS. Fair warning though the view will change across device models and then other brands. Casually note what phone your boss uses and set it up for that view.
Same issues I’ve encountered. Are you setting the view on WordPress to mobile when you are making changes?
I’ve found that having the dashboard view in mobile instead of desktop lets you fix 90% of potential issues before updating.
Either use browserstack, or, if you’re on macOS, you can use simulator as well.
