Another update-caused problem with links

[ad_1]

When you cut and paste tables from Word, it often carries across ghost links to WordPress. That still happens but the new Link system means there’s no obvious way to delete them. Any ideas? The image below shows the word, ‘Connectivity’ transformed into a Link with no address. I added an address but can’t remove that either. There has to be a better way than deleting the word and retyping it?? (I’ll also use this as another opportunity to reiterate that the new Link system is appalling – replacing one-click with several in some instances.)
