Any experience in rescuing API-product-synchronization?

[ad_1]

Hey everyone,

I followed a tutorial by Printify that said „…just disconnect your store and reconnect it“, which I did. What they didn’t tell me beforehand is that all products would be de-synchronized and re-synchronizing them would create totally new instances in WooCommerce > Products!

The thing is I have pretty advanced profiles containing tons of additional pictures, info (like categories) and customized tabs etc. After re-synchronization I get the Printify standard text + stock images.

I already envision myself having to re-create about 100 products manually 😭

Is there a better way? Some workaround directly in PHPmyAdmin maybe? Any experience or advice?

The worst aspect about all this is that I don’t even know where the API connection went bad in the first place and that it could potentially happen again in the future!
