Any reason for BCC: no-reply in a form?

[ad_1]

I’m updating the address to which form responses get sent from our site. Is there a reason for a BCC of a no-reply address? I would think removing this shouldn’t cause a problem… is there something I’m not considering?

We currently have:

Reply-To: [your-email] BCC: <[email protected]>

I’m thinking I could just remove the BCC line.

  1. BCC is not necessary, it’s just a blind carbon copy field that you can add to a catch-all account, or someone you want to receive the emails but don’t want the intended recipient knowing it’s also being sent to.
