I’m doing a website for a local builder who wants to have a map with pins that represent each of their projects around town. I think the best way to handle this would be to set each project up as a portfolio post, but it’s the geotagging that trips me up. I think it would be even nicer if a thumbnail of the project appeared when the user hovered over a pin.
Is this a job for Advanced Custom Fields? Or do you know of a plugin that does this?

I’ve used [WP Store Locator](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-store-locator/) for similar cases. It has a lot of options and you can create your own custom templates as well.
