I have a site that occasionally gets code added that calls flex-query.com. I originally saw it in functions.php, but have also seen it get added in wp_options and wp_posts.
Curious if anyone is familiar with it and happen to know what exploit is used to add it. Thanks.
Are you using nulled plugins or themes?
Code getting added to files is a tell tale sign of a breach. You’re hacked, the quicker you fix it the better.
Uh oh, it sounds like your files may have been compromised with malicious code. I’d recommend reaching out to your host right away for guidance. Update your WordPress login credentials too, just to be safe. Your host should be able to help you get this sorted out.
