Hey all! I’ve been running a news site for 3+ years, and after continued complaints from users and subscribers about the functionality of my site on mobile, I’m finally to a point where I’m ready to jump into the “let’s just make native apps already” side of things.
I was looking at Appmysite, and it seems reasonable for $29 a month to just have them do everything for now. Before I go spend the money, does anyone know of a free alternative that may be out there? I’ve googled, not stumbled upon anything yet.
Thanks for any answers!

Usually those “website to app” builders are just wrappers – they don’t change much of the website. And the Apple App Store isn’t a fan of them – most of the time you will get rejected. Also, will people actually download an app just to view your site? Doubtlful.
Ideally, you should fix your website.
It’s a little odd that you would pay to install a wrapper around an existing website instead of just using a different theme that supports mobile. There are thousands of fully responsive themes, many that have more than a decade of documentation and help content.
