I can see the payment button on /basket, but not on /checkout
What payment button are you referring to? Apple Pay or GPay?
Switching the checkout to a shortcode, gives the Apple Pay option as a payment method.
WooCommerce drastically changed how the checkout works with the checkout block. Apple Pay no longer renders in the payment methods section like the checkout shortcode, but rather in the Express Checkout section. Make sure you have enabled the “Express Checkout” section for Apple Pay, GPay, etc.

Thanks for the quick response. I’m an idiot and had deselected express checkout on options. All sorted.
