While it is cool to use WordPress as a datasource and run it in a headless way, I can’t help but feel that the use cases for these JS based frameworks usually require a backend with scheduling and more complex logic, and at which point it makes more sense to reach for something like Laravel or CakePHP.

  2. It’s a 99% text website. You could get the same performance on any WordPress setup, no need for headless. You might want to use some colour to improve UX.
