Hello! I have a question that came from a client.

I created a website using Elementor free. However, the customer wants a contact form (with name, email and message questions) that automatically saves responses, leaving them stored in a bank even without the customer clicking to send the response.

Is it possible to do this in Elementor pro or another plugin?

*”I created a website using Elementor free. However, the customer wants a contact form (with name, email and message questions) that automatically saves responses, leaving them stored in a bank”*
I’d have thought that the elementor form does that, but if it doesn’t, there are dozens of good, free, form builders that do, like Forminator and Ninja Forms.
*”even without the customer clicking to send the response”* – there’s no need to do that.
This is the part where you guide them out of bad ideas. How would such a form be useful without upsetting the client’s customers? I can’t imagine they’d be receptive to any sort of contact, let alone data retention without having submitted the form first.
This is a massive privacy violation. Do not do it.
That’s a solid way to get sued for privacy violations, and violation of CCPA and GDPR… education over development here.
