Auto Updates in Pro version of Plugins

Hey all!

I have a question narrowed down to a plugin – Events Calender Pro.Disabling the auto updates for this plugin would still automatically update this and due to which website layout breaks.

Can someone please explain about auto updates for pro/ paid versions?
