Hi there, I updated a client’s website theme (Avada) and now the site it broken, serving me a “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” message when I try to access wp admin panel.
When I go to the site proper, ([http://test.hopespringsfertility.com/]) it says “The Avada-Core plugin needs to be updated before your site can exit maintenance mode. Please [**follow this link**]) to update the plugin.” When I click the link, it tries to take me to the admin panel that I can’t access lol. I’m stuck in a loop. Any tips/help?
I’m trying to find the path of least resistance to get it back up. I have backups, but is there anything I can do before restoring the whole thing?
Thanks in advance for anything you can share!

Contact the theme developer as Avada is hard to update at times… particularly if behind a few versions…
