We utilize Microsoft Azure for remote storage. We also utilize Azure firewall rules for this storage account and whitelist the IP address for our website host. This worked perfectly until Updraft version 2.22.18.25. Updating to 2.22.19.25 didn’t resolve the issue.
There’s now an authorization / permissions error when writing to our storage account. Similar issue when clicking the “Test Azure Settings” button in the Updraft settings tab.
If we completely disable the firewall rules, we’re able to connect successfully. Unfortunately, we’re not able to keep the rules disabled due to security policies. Also, we’re unable to roll Updraft back to an earlier release as we’re using the paid version with Azure add-on.
Requesting guidance for manually rolling-back the paid plugin back to 2.22.17.25 (if such a thing is possible) as a temporary solution. Also requesting a bug-fix if/when available.
