Background Image for Maps in Shortcode Ultimate

[ad_1]

Hi burnuser,

what exactly do you mean by “work with Background image”?

Best regards,
Matthias

Settings => Embed Privacy => Manage embeds
=> Google Maps => Embed Fields => Background Image => Upload or choose file

Hm, I can’t reproduce the issue in a default theme. Do you have a link from a page with an embedded Google Maps via Shortcode Ultimate as well as an enabled background image for the Google Maps embed provider?

… sandbox (gone in 38 minutes)

Second try with another sandbox

It seems that the shortcode is not properly recognized in this case at all since there is no logo from Google Maps displayed on the overlay but instead only the URL. Can you send me the code you’ve added in the editor?

`[su_gmap address=”Ringstraße 1, 3500 Krems an der Donau” title=”Location”]

The Map itself works using this shortcode.

Unfortunately, I still cannot reproduce the issue. Can you try reinstall the plugin, please?

WP 6.1.1 + Theme Twenty-twenty Two + PHP 8.1.13 or 7.4.30
3 different testing environments including:
fresh install of environment and plugin
tried another Address (without “ß”)
same result: no Background with Shortcodes Ultimate

Ah, now I got it. This problem is already fixed in my development environment. So there will be a fix in the next update for this!

Alternatively, if you don’t want to wait, edit the embed provider Google Maps and use the following Default Regex: /(maps\.google\.com\/(maps)?|google\.com\/maps\/embed)/
