Hey y’all, I’m wondering if anyone could help me come to a decision here.
I am building a wordpress site for a local claims association that I work with, and they are looking to have a commerce plugin so that association members can pay their membership fees online. the claims association is with Bank of America, who recommended us to use the Woocommerce plugin with wordpress to take payments.
After doing some research, it seems that Woo is incredibly difficult to work with and a lot of people have issues receiving payment from Woo.
I’m looking into WPforms as it seems to have good reviews, but I can’t find if it is specifically compatible with Bank of America. I looked into using Stripe, but our BofA representative told me that they are not compatible with Stripe as they are competitors.
My other thought is just to use the paypal plugin to receive payments, as I know that should be easier than dealing with Woo.
any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated! All we need is the ability to accept payments in the US, nothing fancy for multiple listings or storefronts.
