Hi @oninmedia,
I hope I understood your question correctly: Google Maps will indeed have to be blocked before obtaining consent from your visitors, but on your website that is already the case; so this is correct!
If I visit your Contact page with the Google Map, I have to “Accept” before the Google Map is loaded, which is the intended behavior.
Let me know if you have any questions about this!
Kind regards,
Jarno
Hello Jarnovos!
No, my question is not exactly what you have answered…
What I mean is that if I remove Google Maps from this website.
The web will no longer have stored cookies..? therefore it will not be necessary to add or implement a cookie banner right…?
Hi @oninmedia,
I’ve visited several pages on the attached website, and it indeed looks like that, aside of Google Maps, this website doesn’t use any other “non-functional” services that require consent.
We cannot provide any legal advice on these forums though. We would recommend verifying that not displaying a Cookie Banner, in case your website doesn’t set any non-functional cookies, is allowed in the region(s) that you target with your website.
Hope this helps!
Kind regards,
Jarno
