Being someone who cannot write a line of code, what steps can I take to ensure that my WordPress blog stays safe and smooth?

I cannot write even a line of code and don’t know much of the technicalities. I have a WordPress blog where I regularly post educational content and recently introduced a subscription model using the plugin “Ultimate Member”. In all, I make about 150 USD per month. The thing is, I have this constant fear that someday something will go wrong and the site will go down and I am therefore looking for ways to ensure that my fear doesn’t come true.

I have installed Updraft plugin (free version) and take backups regularly, but I wonder if that is going to be enough. I use a “managed” hosting just so I can seek help from the hosting company and they helped me out setting up the SMTP among other things.

A week ago, I messed up a bit trying to change the site logo and when I asked my hosting company if they can restore my site, they asked me to tell them the exact file name for the restoring, and I was dumbfounded, because I have no idea about this. Fortunately, I fiddled around and found a way out to fix the logo thing.
