Are there any benefits to this? I had a problem that I couldn’t access the downloadable products through email if someone made a purchase without being a user, so I had to disable that function, but I wonder if I’ll see less sales because of it.

You could choose Easy Paid Downloads … [https://easypaiddownloads.com](https://easypaiddownloads.com) instead if you want… I think it costs 20 bucks and you can use it forever. But on the downside it is only for one product I think, but you can put different products in diff folders and sell multiple things … also I do not think you can make things free with that. There are other tools too if you search around. I like WordPress but sometimes I choose tools that are not built in.
