So basically, my client paid for Managed WordPress Hosting. But paid me to build a pure static HTML+CSS+JS only website.
Is there a plugin or a tried-and-true method where I can just upload my codebase and assets to the wordpress instance somehow and get it to work? Honestly, I don’t need any of the CMS functions of wordpress; I’m just stuck having to use it.
My last resort is to convert my pages into a custom theme, then creating all the pages as wordpress pages, each with their own hardcoded content. But honestly, that seems like a lot of work. It’s really frustrating because if the client just had a regular hosting server, I could just upload everything and be up in 10 seconds flat.
Any suggestions or ideas?
