Hi! I’m sorry if this has been asked a thousand times, but I’m trying to set up my band’s website which will also have a merch store. I’m a full stack engineer by day by have no experience actually launching a site DIY, so I figured it would make sense to give WordPress a shot. I’m looking at Bluehost for webhosting and they have an Online Store tier that has a bunch of support for ecommerce. I’m wondering if this is necessary to first set up our online merch store? Or if we just can start with one of the smaller webhosting tiers and build out our merch store using WordPress and WooCommerce or something along those lines? I’m open to any and all suggestions.
