Bidirectional Relationships not syncing | WordPress.org

I am having an issue with two pods bidirectional relationship fields not syncing properly. I have tried many times to recreate them and clear the pods cache but this is still not working.

I have the two following pods:

• Posts (post type extended)
• Issues (custom post type)

Here are my settings for the relationship fields for both pods:

I created a relationship in the custom post type Issues to Article 1 (post type) and saved.

Then I go open the Article 1 post entry and the relationship field is empty instead of showing up the Issues entry…

Any help would be much appreciated.
