Big Security Concerns

Hey guys,

I just checked the 404’s for one of my local websites on wordpress. This is a very old website where the mail server constantly has phishing attempts.

I can see there are lots of sketchy url requests like this from global IP’s on the 404’s:

`/?jkit-ajax-request=jkit_elements`

`/wp-json/wp/v2/pages/429`

​

Etc ..

​

This is happening almost every 5 minutes

​

From my knowledge an AJAX query is trying to run some Javascript or XML

​

I’ve verified that this is not me, and not bot traffic (according to word-fence and security optimiser)

​

Have any of you guys experienced this?

Can I do anything to prevent this sort of attack?
