Bit Frustrated with all the pricing fees.

Making a website for market affiliating and everyone’s suggesting WordPress, I got the domain from the website. Then I find out I need business subscription, woo commerce and maybe even higher traffic support. For someone who is just looking to get into the website 600$+ a year for just those basics is a huge turn off. Not to mention the website locks everything behind the free tier.

Huge turn off.

Edit: the website has a bunch of positive features but for a startup I’m going with google sites.

  1. WordPress doesn’t have any fees – it’s completely free, open source, software that anyone can use.

What you’re talking about is [Wordpress.com]) – which is different to WordPress. [Wordpress.com]) is a hosting company, who has a slightly different version which is crippled unless you pay large monthly fees. Eg on their two bottom plans, they don’t even allow you to install themes or plugins.

Therefore, don’t use [Wordpress.com]), use WordPress. Virtually every other host in existance supports WordPress.
