Block or components to display a grid of featured image of posts and linking to *external* url

Hello,

I’m looking for a solution (Gutemberg, Elementor Pro or VC) to display the featured images of a selection of custom poststype with the url of each image linking to each url stored in the custom post type. I do not want to link to the post, but to an url described in a field of the custom post type.

Any clue?
