Blog post featured image not showing in Home page

Hello,

I have recently started a blog and the site is built with WordPress and the Astra theme. First of all, I am in the design stage of my blog. I installed starter templates from Astra to customize the homepage.

I just designed the homepage, and I also wanted to show my latest posts on my homepage, just below the website information. I added the widget under the section. When added, only the recent posts links are showing, but not the excerpt and the featured image.

So, my question is, how to show the latest blog posts with featured image and the article excerpt.

When scrolling down the homepage, the three posts (Recently published) titile and the link is shown.

Please help me to show the blog post featured image and the excerpt.
