Looking to see if people still use the term Listicle on their blogs and if not is there any better alternative word? (Anything other than the word list to convey one.)
I mean, people still use it. But mostly in a sentence like “Damn, listicles suck. Is this website stuck in the year 2008?”
I kid (mostly). But yeah, it’s still a word. I just don’t think it’s a very well liked concept in 2023. Sometimes they still work, for very specific ideas or if created in a particularly clever way. But mostly they are just dreck pumped out by people looking for the fastest way to crank out some sort of content.
