Are there any good blogs about WordPress written by people in be community that are not owned by a host or automattica or big plugin developer?

WP Tavern has gone quiet. torque is WP engine, code in WP is now WP about owned by theme/plugin dev. WP beginner is good but all the articles plug their plugins. Im looking for small blogs that offer tips and insights that are not too sales oriented.
