I was trying to purchase a domain with Bluehost. They told me the price for 1 year was €33 but when I clicked through to the payment section, the total price was €133? Is that normal? I didn’t select any additional options. Looking at the price breakdown they are charging €11.01 for domain privacy + protection, €32.82 for WordPress Basic Hosting, €33.26 for SiteLock Essentials and €33.26 for CodeGuard Basic. Are all of those necessary? I will be setting up a WordPress.org site but wasn’t sure if all of these extras were required or if it was one of those things where a company tacks on additional services at the checkout.
