I build a website on WordPress, domain is provided by wordpress. Then I bought server and host on other tools, the host is in HK. Did I do something wrong? Do I need to resolve my domain? Do I need to change A type of DNS record to HK IP?

You need to point your domain name’s IP address (A record) to your new server. Your new host can help you with that.
