Hey, I am new to web design/development and have been using WP for a few months. My websites are okay-ish but I love doing them and want to advance my skills to have a side job in college. I was recommended to start creating WordPress themes myself using code so I wondered why is creating the themes yourself more beneficial than using already-made themes and just editing them. Can you create more elaborate designs with code or is it just a preference? Thank you in advance:)
