Bypass Ad Blockers isn’t compatible with Trellis

[ad_1]

Hi @hirngesicht,

I have forwarded this matter to our development team for further investigation.

Additionally, could you please confirm if the script loads correctly when the “Bypass Ad Blockers” option is disabled?

Thank you for your cooperation!

Regards

Yes it works without it! 🙂
We’ve been using the script for quite some time now, and this issue surfaced when we discussed the differences in views/visitors between Google Analytics and your plugin. We’re looking at increasing our proven numbers to attract advertisers, and including people with adblockers would be a nice increase to that.

The issue only occurs when we enable the “Bypass Ad Blockers” feature is enabled. For some reason, the script loads just fine without that option enabled. In fact, every feature we’ve tried so far works just fine on Trellis, except this one feature.

Thanks for your response, Matthew!

Hello,

Thank you for reporting the issue. We’ve just fixed it in the development version, resolving the retrieval of the correct hashed tracker.js in the Bedrock boilerplate. The new version will be released at the beginning of the week.
