I’m using BuddyBoss to create a community, except not all users are in the same geographic location. We want to be able to publish events from locations all over the country, while allowing users/subscribers to filter for the events in their area.
Is there such thing as a calendar plugin that: 1) allows global events, but lets the users/subscribers view/filter only for their own local area (I suppose using city/state/country groups to filter it is fine as well); and/or 2) Provides a widget that displays only those events that matter to the user/subscriber? Bonus: 3) a calendar that also allows users to submit events.
I reached out to the Events Calendar folks, and they suggested to look into a possible custom dev solution (which I’m also fine with). Hoping there’s a plugin out there for this. Thanks in advance WP fam!
