Can Gutenberg pages be just as slow and bloated as elementor?

[ad_1]

I was under the impression through reading a bit that Elementor adds unnecessary bloat and pages designed in Gutenberg would be significantly faster.

I recently read this comment, which left me confused: “In my experience every other builder/method is “slow and bloated” unless (or until) you’ve “learned it deeply” for a couple of years. There are fast, good looking ACF sites, Gutenberg sites, WPBakery sites, and Divi, Blocksy, etc., sites too. But none built by beginners unless they’re using pre-built “libraries,” patterns, or similar demo content.”

So unless you’re an experienced developer, is there no advantage to developing in Gutenberg (with a theme like Astra), i.e if you’re a beginner, your site is going to be slow irrespective so there’s no point?
