Can I build my site idea on WP?

Hi folks,

I have an idea for a site, suited to my industry. I have someone that is a professional WP Ninja, but I also need to learn and understand. I showed them my concept today, and they have to go away and do research, but it is my idea so I want to be part of the solution.

Basically there need to be 2 sides to the site.

**Side 1:** Side for freelancers focused on a very niche skillset. Something that I can define, is measurable. Within this people will list their rate per hour and per day, on short and long term contracts. They will select and rate their skills in given aspects related to my niche. They need to create their own profile on the site.

**Side 2:** On the other side is potential customers. They will join the site (Create a profile), and have similar questions to the above, but from the perspective of what they need, what their budget is amd what specific services they need.

**How it should work**
Now. On side 2, when the company runs a search, and find the relevent freelancer, they can see like a carosel or they see the side 1 profile, with PII and contact info redacted. If they like what they see, they can reach out to the freelancer, through the site. We can do this via some questions that the freelancer gets by email, and maybe even loads to their profile. If the freelancer likes the gig, they can accept, or rebutle on pricing. They execute, we run the invoicing and payments manually.

So I need some matchmaking here, but perhaps we can set it up that it returns the best to worst results…and hides the irrelevent/invalid freelancers.

Is this workable?

So advice, insight and guidance would be SUPER helpful.
