- I created a synced pattern in a post – updated post – deleted post.
- I created a new post – added the synced pattern and published post. synced pattern as displayed as expected.

In WordPress, when you delete a post that contains a reusable block (or synced pattern), the reusable block itself is not deleted. However, if you make changes to the reusable block within the post before deleting it, those changes will reflect in all other posts where the reusable block is used. Deleting a post will not delete the reusable block or affect other posts using the same block.
So, to answer your question: No, you don’t have to manually de-link the synced pattern in each post before deleting. Deleting a post will not delete the reusable block or affect other posts using the same block. The reusable block will remain in the “Reusable” section of the block editor, and you can continue to use it in other posts.
However, it’s always a good practice to double-check by going to the “Reusable” section in the block editor after deleting a post to make sure the reusable block is still available and unaffected by the deletion.
I was facing same issue on one of my client website: https://easystatuscheck.com/
