Can I make a page which only shows a post with the current date in its title?

I help my gym with their website. They post a different workout everyone does each day. I used to display this workout on a TV via a single page which would show the latest post using this:

“`[display-posts posts_per_page=”1″ include_content=”true”]“`

But they decided to change and show everyone the whole week worth of workouts for the whole week, so people could decide which ones they want to do, so I changed it to this:

“`[display-posts posts_per_page=”6″ include_content=”true”]“`

because with just the latest post, it would show the last post of the week, being only Saturday’s workout.

Every post has the current date in the title, I was wondering if there’s any way to only show posts with todays date in the title? That would fix our issue of the TV’s showing the whole week of posts and then people can visit our other website posts page to see the whole week worth.

What it looks like in the gym, for the curious:

Thanks!

  1. What about [display-posts date=”today”]? That will work off the post’s publish date.
