Kind of new to WordPress:
I create my feature images and convert them from PNG to WebP via the Photoshop plugin locally. Is it OK to upload and use only the WebP files or do I also need a fallback JPG?
I noticed that in a couple of places I shared my links the post thumbnail could not be pulled correctly or not at all, while in others it worked fine and my guess is they still don’t support WebP all that well.
Is it better to use a plugin on WordPress for the conversion and my initial files to be JPG?
