Can I optimize my WordPress site for Mobile while leaving the Desktop unchanged?

[ad_1]

Hi Team!

I actually am new to WordPress, but I think I have a decent site. On desktop, I think it looks great. However, on mobile, some of the features that look great on desktop do not seem to be optimal. For example, the first section of my desktop site is a beautiful slide animation but on mobile its…small. On the phone you want it to “pop” and be a larger size, but it kind of looks small and makes the rest of the website look jumbled. I paid a web designer to actually build the site.

My question is, can I make edits or even a version dedicated to mobile and leave the desktop version alone?

  1. Very possible. Did this designer use custom code or a page builder? You can use CSS @media queries, and most page builders have mobile design features. Let me know if you need help!
