Can I use User Profiles to set up short bio links attached to articles?

[ad_1]

My apologies for what I am sure is an oddly phrased question. I run a sports blog with a friend and we have a team of writers working with us. Up to this point we have created individual bio pages for everyone that is linked to a category which is the author’s name. Is there a way to have our writers fill out the biography information and upload a profile picture under their own User Profile that perhaps shows up as a bubble photo and bio as part of the byline?

This website is a good example of what I mean: [https://www.chicitysports.com/justin-fields-names-who-he-wants-the-bears-to-draft-and-why/])

  1. Our plugin UsersWP allows the creation of profiles for all users and provides an Author Box option that, when enabled, it will appear under each post showing the avatar, name, and bio of the author, just like in your example. Oh, all this is avail in the free version. Hope this helps.

  2. That’s all built into WordPress. You just need to alter your theme to display the info you’re wanting.
