Can the event image link to th event?

Hello, I put the following shortcode in order to only diplay future event’s images:

[events_list]#_EVENTIMAGE [/events_list]

How do I make the images clickable, so that when you click on them, it links to the corresponding event?

I want people to be able to click on the whole image, not just putting a text link with #_EVENTLINK.
