Hi everyone, this is my first post on Reddit so apologies if i’ve missed anything out!
I run a small Design Agency and I’m working on designing a website for a client. We don’t do website developing so i’ve outsourced that part. The client wants it to remain in WordPress so he can update dates on the website himself.
Essentially the client has come up with the idea of having a splash page that seemingly ‘zooms’ through the logo as you scroll and has sent this through as an example, ([https://www.kountrywayne.com/])
Instead of a black logo, we want to use a video instead, (see attached example).
The developer i’m using has said that because he’s made a start on building the website, he can’t incorporate the ‘zoom’ funtion without starting again and that a video cannot be used without needing to configure each frame.
On the back of this, I have 2 questions
1. Can the function be done using a video within WordPress?
2. Can it be applied once the site is finished, at a later date, without the need to start again?
Sorry for the lengthy explanation but I’m keen to work out where I stand with this.
