I’m new mac user and wordpress as well. When I try to upload any media files I get the error
“Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2024/06. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

I have the same problem with installing any plugin.

I tried to fix it giving full permission throught terminal with “sudo chmod” and “sudo chown” but it changed nothing.
I also tried to add “define( ‘UPLOADS’, ‘wp-content/uploads’ );” to “wp-config.php” but it also didn’t work out.
I have been looking around and it seems to be something with permissions on my Mac? However, I have not the slightest clue how to fix this.
I really need to get this to work, so any help you could give me would be very appreciated!
