Cannot find folder /etc/apache2/ in file manager

[ad_1]

I have a shared hosting account. I need to check some security measures that are usually added to /etc/apache2/… . But I cannot find /etc/apache2/ folder. The /etc/ folder is there, but it does not contain /apache2/. Is it because my shared hosting account does not have access to it or any other reasons?

  1. almost certainly because either

    1) shared hosting limits your access

    2) you are actually using nginx and not apache
