I recently started with a start up event/meeting planning company and they want me to redo our company website. The task itself is easy enough but I cannot access the WordPress account to make edits.
The company had a 3rd party make the website before came onboard and when I contacted them for the information they didn’t have the correct info.
I can’t find any records in our system that has acurrent password or username. All I see is a receipt to the 3rd party for building the website.
The site itself is hosted on HostGator.
With such little information I don’t even know where to begin. Plz help me bonus is on the line 🙏

Firstly, access to WP is via [yourdomain.com/wp-admin]). It’s not clear from your post – have you been given an admin login to the site?
