your header and footer were made with something called “sq”, sq probably is a shortform for some plugin or theme that you have installed, if you find the plugin or theme then please get help directly from the plugin’s/theme’s developers by visiting their support forum.
Hey there @benniledl , I can’t seem to find any plugin under the name of ‘sq’ and it seems after disabling all the plugins I still can’t remove or edit the headers and footers. Was wondering what I can do from here?

A Header (and Footer) should be a basic feature of the theme you’re using, unless you’re using a 3rd-party page builder plugin.
The header on your site is definitely from your theme.
You’re using the SquarePress child theme along with its parent Square theme.
Go through the theme’s Customizer options to see what changes you can make: APPEARANCE => CUSTOMIZE.
If you can’t make the change you want there, chances are you’ll need to use custom CSS to achieve this.

@gappiah Hi there, is there any possible way to bring the whole WordPress site back to vanilla default settings?
What do you call “vanilla default settings”?
Do you want to RESET the site to a fresh WordPress installation, losing ALL the current content on the site? I guess not 😀
So what exactly do you mean when you say “vanilla default settings”?
And more importantly, what are you really trying to accomplish?
A site’s header usually includes things like the logo and navigation. So if you say you want to hide the header, do you really want to get rid of your logo and navigation across the entire site? Or do want to hide the header only on specific pages?
Or are you referring to the Header Banner, the image underneath the page titles?
@gappiah I think I would want to reset the site completely, as I have another site. The issue here for this site is that it was done by another group of people and I’m not sure how to edit the header and footer and all.
Right now I’m planning to just export the other site over and then work on it from there. Not sure if it would work and override the plugins that are causing all this
