Ugh, I am so confused. I have had a lot of issues getting my business verified on google and getting search console to work. I have uploaded my sitemap and it says it has found 25 pages. However, when I go to indexing, it says it only tried to index one page, and that one page was not indexed due to a noindex tag. I have been searching google and have tried things like going into the reading setting, but I did not have it checked to avoid web crawlers. I have google site xml and used that to submit it to search console! Does anyone have any starting points to me figuring this issue out?

Can you check your robots.txt file? Maybe something in there is blocking crawlers? It sits on domain.com/robots.txt
And check if you have Discourage search engines from indexing checked. You can find it under Settings > Reading in your admin
In Settings > Reading – ensure that “Discourage Search Engine” is unticked.
Check your SEO plugin – you may have enabled search engine blocking somewhere.
Stupid question but did you upload the sitemap to the server?
Add an “s” to the first sitemap URL.
Did you open the XML file to look at it?
