Can’t set primary site?

I use my site to facilitate image searches on Google, which would otherwise be of very limited utility to me. It’s not public facing at all. This isn’t the rabbit hole I want you to jump into, I just want you to understand how I I’ve been using my site for the past seven years.

What’s keeping me from using my site today is that I’m now being asked to set a primary site before proceeding. Problem is, when I go into settings I can’t enter anything into any field that seems to be made for text entry. I need a clue, if someone would be so kind.
