Hi everyone,
I’ve got a client who wants to build a Capterra-style marketplace in WordPress.
For those who don’t know, Capterra is a website for businesses to compare different pieces of software in certain categories, such as email marketing software, HR software, etc to find one that’s right for their business.
The real killer feature of Capterra my client wants to bring over is the Compare feature, which allows users to select any two (or three or four) pieces of software and compare their features side-by-side in a table.
Is this sort of thing possible within WP? Is there a good plugin solution for this? I’ve looked at TablePress and wpDataTables, and I’m trying to decide if either of those will be able to do what he needs.
I’m thinking of using Elementor and ACF to build the frontend and backend respectively. It would be great if I could find a plugin that can generate a table based on ACF fields associated with two different pages on the fly. Thoughts?
Thanks all!
