Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with saving your category mappings. When you are doing the category mapping, mapping your WooCommerce categories to Google’s category taxonomy you need to start typing in the input field and select one of the categories that are showing from the drop-down with suggestions (in the left upper corner of your browser). Copy/pasting categories from another list will not work.
Thanks, that bit I finally figured out thanks to your advice and quick response, much appreciated. It would be good to make the Category suggestions visible and place them near the field of data entry so customers can realise that’s what they should do 🙂
Also when I finished my Google Merchant Centre set up I got a message from WordPress saying there was a fatal error but my site still seems to be ok but I completely lost the GMC data I had just entered and it is not in my Feeds in your plugin as I obviously expected it to be. So I will have to start all over again.
