Change color of links in posts and pages only css

Add this in Appearance > Customizer > Additional CSS:

.entry-content a {
color: red;
}

Adjust the color if you want.

That method doesn’t appear to be working for me.

For myself at line 998 in style.css it says the following, but when I change it nothing happens. any thoughts?

.page-links {
clear: both;
line-height: 1.714285714;
}

thanks for the assistance, I just changed the theme. this was a little to time consuming for me.
